It's also WAAAAAY cheaper for Americans to host in Canada because the prices are about the same but paying in USD is like saving 30% lol.

I am friends with the owner of 7l.com with offices based in Toronto (I'm renting space from him ;). Hosting in Toronto is the same as hosting in New York with ping times etc. Hit me up on skype: boomboombenoit and I can probably get you a really great deal on hosting / colocation.

OVH has HQ in France but they have a large Canada presence.
