Merchant accounts are a trade off really. On the one side you get more of the money quicker, on the other side you have to do more work.

You can't have your cake and eat it sadly.

They beat us to paypal cause paypal is a processor, as are we I don't know how there partnership works but we provide merchant accounts at a much lower rate because we don't offer paypal.

Makes sense in their model though.

It's true that Merchant accounts require more work, but really its not that much more. And besides, the savings you get are substantial, and fast.

After 12 years in the biz and 70/30 3rd party. Less cb fees, they handle support, no need for a bs call center & equal througput. I love NB but the mids scrub at their level, too, which beggs the question "why pay for fraud control at the gateway & mid level twice." The ISO should be full bore wide open but they aren't. Heavy mid use is 2009. That's that.

So what is Epoch?? Please educate me. To me PP is worth 10x the fees because it delivers 100 x the conversion. But still waiting for my upgrade.

Hi Duke - there should be no scrub at the mid level. We handle support and call center too. Let me know if you need any info.
