Bible Thumping Kentucky Clerk Fighting Gay Marriage Has Wed Four Times and Committed Adultry

The Kentucky county clerk who is stopping gay couples from being married because of her literal interpretation of the Bible has herself been married four times and conceived twins by having sex outside her marriage, according to court records.

Kim Davis, 49, who has defied the U.S. Supreme Court and continues to refuse to issue marriage licenses to same sex-couples, was married and divorced three times ? in 1994, 2006 and 2008, according to U.S. News & World Report.

She gave birth to twins five months after she divorced her first husband. The father of those twins was her third husband, according to the records.

Her second husband adopted the twins, the news magazine said.

She has twice married current husband Ed Davis.

The Rowan County clerk's refusal to conform to a Supreme Court ruling has garnered death threats from opponents and resounding praise from conservative Christians.

The clerk, whose mother was her predecessor in the clerk's office, said Tuesday she feared going to hell if she issued marriage certificates to homosexuals.

She was ordered to appear before a federal judge Thursday to explain why she should not be held in contempt.

Her past marriages and apparent adultery raised questions of hypocrisy, but her supporters said her past actions did not matter because she has been born again since then.

New hero of the Tea party. Wonder how much she'll make when she creates a gofundme account?

I have a feeling things aren't going to go well for her Thursday when she has to appear before a judge. Most judges are not big fans of having people openly defying their orders.

Its often the case, the more someone goes on, say bible bashing, they then often turn out to be doing the opposite.

Its like those who are extreme anti gay turn out to be gay.

CaptainHowdy 09-02-2015 05:57 AM

So predictable ...

ruff 09-02-2015 06:00 AM

She looks like a pissed off lesbian. With apologies to lesbians worldwide.

Ahhh ... must be nice to be able to commit all kinds of sins against your religion and then say you're born again and the slate is wiped clean. Talk about not taking responsibility for your sins. Isn't this the "group" that keeps trying to condemn other for not taking responsibility for their words and actions? Hypocrisy at its finest. Lady, it's not issuing licenses to gay couples that you should fear will send you to Hell ... it's the sins/breaking of the 10 commandments that you have committed that will most definitely grant you a ticket to the front of the line. Pack your SPF1000,000.

Nothing shocking

dyna mo 09-02-2015 06:48 AM

Heads-up, she's a clerk.

L-Pink 09-02-2015 06:56 AM

Humorous side note.

She's from Rowan County. Rowan County's government offices are located in MOREHEAD, Ky. :1orglaugh

The entire notion of believing in God is not taking responsibility for your actions. It's a way to not have to take responsibility because you can claim it's gods will.. Or just pray for shit instead of getting off your ass to do it..

Wait...

By following that logic does that mean that crockett and Mark Prince are really closet-republicans?

Now it all makes sense!
