Why would the NFL brass go to such measures to taint the name anymore than it already has been? I suppose it could be said they wanted to make up for past failures and cover ups, but what's to gain by targeting someone who is arguably the leagues most popular and valuable player?

Packers, Steelers, Broncos, Dallas, Colts, Panthers, Seahawks etc all look like shit one week and brilliant the next week. Tom Brady and company continue to shine every week even with some injuries.
