I did a week ago, now I'm just staring at my monitor.

Wow, I can't wait to get out in the middle of nowhere to see some trees and rocks.

I have the evolutive trait of staying far from the naked wilderness ...
|
I am in my house in the Smoky Mountains with zero neighbors in sight so yes.
Nothing but trees and mountains. |

It is a special view. Where is it and how'd you get there. Might as well spill it, its not easy getting to places like that. But you do get to masterbate outdoors with a nice view. So it's worth the effort.

Im jealous :(
|
WOW, it's so beautiful... :) Lucky you... :) :thumbsup

The front was covered with trees and after a few feet was a very steep drop off. Both the back and the far side were giant rocks. If you came up from that side or from the rear all you would see is the big rock faces. The only access was from the side I took the picture and it was in sort of a drop off so you wouldn't likely notice it from 50ft away. Added to this there were no trails, I was climbing up the Ridgeline just to get cell signal when I found it. I kind of wonder how old it is, because the glass was old single plane non opening and they built the frames out of roughly cut wood. |

Well since no one figured it out.. it's the flatirons in Boulder, CO.
http://i.imgur.com/Z3c4F2h.jpg Yesterday's picture was taken from the back side of the tall one. It was flatiron 1 and the view was from behind looking over flatiron 2 with flatiron 3 being the focal point. Today's picture was taken looking through grand arch at flatiron 3 from the other side. In the picture to get to the top of the 1st one, you hike through that narrow strip of trees between 1&2. It's a well known location, I'm suprised no one figured it out. |
