Refugees don't like Germany, it seems!

Denmark has suspended all rail links with Germany after police stopped hundreds of migrants at the border.
Danish police also closed a motorway between the two countries when some asylum seekers began walking north after being forced off a train.
They say their destination is Sweden.

Migrant crisis: Denmark-Germany rail links suspended - BBC News

Who here still thinks they are refugees and not benefit scroungers now?

Sly 09-09-2015 02:40 PM

Sweden does have a lot of land.

Sure. In our local Finnish news there was a "nice" story about refugees refusing to leave bus once they were taken in some little remote place. They were like "Look, this ground is frozen, here is nothing to do, etc.". They populated the bus in shifts and had some hunger strike until there was some agreement about them being shipped as soon as possible to some densely packed refugee slum in Stockholm or whatever, where all their refugee buddies are. There are also nice videos about the riots in those places. Police cars get totally torn to pieces and the police does nada. And this is from about 5-10 years ago. Not the bus thing, that last riot I saw on news.

EDIT: Swedish link, there is little video about this bus thing.

Unfortunately for the scroungers, as most are, (anyone see the news of all the dropped ID cards and papers in Serbia, even blacks are claiming to be Syrian now, which is pissing off the Syrians) Scandinavia has woken up and is leaning to the right a bit.

There is a town in Japan that very much resembles a Swedish mountain town. Japanese laugh it does not look quite right. There are no black people. :1orglaugh

Shocked they are not happy about Germany.

They don't like Uruguay because they don't get enough handouts there

I read that. They're bitching to be taken to another country.

Syrians resettled in Uruguay: We want to go back - CNN.com

Unreal.

But the parents of these Syrian children are not happy. Last year five Syrian families, 42 people in total, were welcomed in Uruguay as refugees. They were fleeing from war and violence in their native country. Two births in the past 12 months have increased their number to 44.
Who knows, maybe the pregnancy was part of why they received asylum, but something that needs to be taken into account.

Economic migrants fleeing a war draft. Got to love it!

Meanwhile westerners would look down on their own citizens who avoided a war draft.
But if they are Syrian or African of course it's different.

But hey 1 "gut wrenching" photo of a toddler on a beach in Turkey and everyone throws their arms up suddenly. Now is the time to care. Meanwhile countless children getting their limbs blown off or killed for decades.

Fucking idiots.

What pisses me off the most is the fact there's nothing we can do about it than just be a bystander.

I can call Merkel and say I do not approve, she will then throw words at me like solidarity, humanity, generosity. When I don't approve that I get other words like racist, xenophobic.

Good luck having a sensible discussion. MUHHHHH

lol we are laughing at them but they are the only ones who knows that the global warming will come and north will be the only place to survive :) :upsidedow

What a nightmare this has all become. I hate to see what will happen to Europe in the near future if the politicians don't cap the migrants/refugees with less numbers. I read Germany has a new plan to take in 500k applicants annually, WTF??

Here's a couple videos worth watching. :helpme

No it isn't. I seem to recall that some smart professor saying that there has never in modern day been fewer conflicts than there are today. It's just more visible because we have awesome powers of communication.

An example .... Let's take the war in Jugoslavia:

Quote:

About 400,000 out of some 1.2 million Bosnian refugees at the beginning of 1996 have already found durable solutions, whether by repatriating, being granted a more permanent status in host countries, starting the process of acquiring citizenship, or actually obtaining citizenship. That leaves a little over 815,000 still seeking solutions, of whom the greatest number are located in Germany (315,000), the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (253,000) and Croatia (160,000). In addition, some 750,000 remain displaced within Bosnia and Herzegovina, of whom roughly 450,000 are in the Federation and 300,000 in Republika Srpska (RS Entity). And a further 48,000 Croatian Serbs have settled in the RS Entity.
This was in 1996. In Denmark we took more than 20.000 bosnian refugees - are they are problem today? No. Did they go back? Not all. Are they a part of society those that stayed behind? Yep.

(Some) people in this country are freaking out because 2.000 people arrived. So what? we can fit them in.

The real problem with Syria (IMHO) is that no western country wants to put troops on the ground - and you cannot win anything w.o. troops on the ground.

So until we do that, my EU brothers and sisters, prepare to get more refugees LOTS and LOTS more of them.

Paul Markham 09-10-2015 01:40 AM

These illegal migrants want to choose where to live. They will choose the countries that gives them the most in benefits.

Cut the benefits, house them in secure camps without the possibility of work, and the riots will start, and stop when they go back. If they go back.

Politicians are dropping us into a Far Right Wing Europe and we know how the last one turned out.

That was an interesting read. It seems they are unhappy in Uruguay. That's too bad. But after two years of support you are expected to get by on your own.

nico-t 09-10-2015 08:28 AM

You know what's funny, if politicians actually did what the people who voted them in would want, we wouldn't have this problem - they would deny entrance.

I don't even know why people vote anymore, governments do the exact opposite all the time as long as i live.

How about instead of fitting them in, they stay where they are from and make that work like they did in your country.

Looks like we are going to get a minimum of 10k: Obama planning to admit 10K Syrian refugees

Will they like it here?

Democratic presidential candidate Martin O?Malley, for example, has called on the U.S. to take in as many as 65,000 refugees from Syria by the end of next year. Hillary Clinton has called for a global conference to tackle the crisis.

But Republicans running for the White House have mostly rejected taking in the refugees, warning of the security risks.
