WASHINGTON ? President Obama will propose raising the refugee ceiling beginning Oct. 1 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis, administration and congressional sources said Wednesday.

The Refugee Act requires the president to set the refugee ceiling each year in consultation with Congress. Those consultations happened on Capitol Hill Wednesday, as Secretary of State John Kerry met with members of the House and Senate Judiciary committees.

P.S. I have no idea why Obama supports ISIS in Syria. Assad fights ISIS. The States fight Assad. Is there some secret plan behind this?

The idea is to get rid of Assad as he's not controlled and doesn't allow the West to put their banking systems in place. Syria are also currently buddies with Russia, the US aren't happy about that for obvious reasons. Obama supports ISIS as a way of eventually trying to get rid of Assad and put a US/UK puppet in charge.

Russia has a navy base there so that's not a secret. As far as I know from the local media, Russian marines are fighting ISIS in Syria right near that base. Only yesterday two Russian two tank landing ships have arrived there: Russia sends ships, aircraft and forces to Syria: U.S. officials | Reuters and seems Pentagon is a bit afraid of that:
