Do you utilize social media to advertise?
 

If so, do you do it all yourself or hire someone? If you hire someone, do you have any recommendations? I've been looking for a quality person for a couple months and everyone I've hired turns out to be a complete flake.

Advertising what? Adult on social media?

I do a ton of it for mainstream for myself and my customers. Some of it has been off the charts successful, sometime the same strategy in a different Geo location has barely made a blip.

Overall it is hugely important IMHO.

Gearing up right now to do it for adult products. Hired 3 people this week for niche adult traffic.

Track, track, track, (I like to use promo/coupon and even QR codes) but be aware that sometimes it is very hard to measure the brand-ability value against direct sales.

You do it all yourself? It's pretty time consuming, yes? I tried doing everything (design, development, marketing, etc) myself, and it just became an insurmountable task. One thing I've learned is that just because you can do everything doesn't mean you should. :thumbsup

Adult and mainstream. There are channels for everything in the socialsphere these days. :thumbsup

I do and it is (and I shouldn't) that why I just took on people for more grunt work things and light content creation.

The majority of my income is doing marketing and holistic online/offline systems for others (Mainstream) and what little time is left over for my own sites.
