Fancy that. People who just want products to work.
For a coder, the Apple platform is not a closed platform, but one which opens up a world of possibilities not possible on Windows. There's more great Apps for OS X than Windows these days. Some of the most important applications I use don't have Windows equivalents. The Apple Website went down because of the iPhone pre-order rush. It just didn't cope with the demand and considering it's an ultra high traffic website already then I am sure that the iPhone 6S & 6S Plus will be another amazing success story. |

My main PC here is four years old, rivals anything Apple makes, and has never had a problem. I have another PC that has never had any issues, and four laptops all with no issues. I also have a Surface with no issues, and two kindles. The only thing we have problems with is our iPhones. Mostly with cracked screens. |

I'm no apple fanboi, I own an android phone, an IPad and all my PCs and laptops run windows or linux. I guess I'm just failing to see how Apple is meant to account for your butter fingers .... |

MarsEdit allows you to manage an unlimited number of blogs from one program, including posts, pages, images, galleries etc http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...it_main.md.png Ember Ember lets you take full snapshots of web pages including the full source as rendered by Webkit. It allows you to take full screen, searchable snapshots that can be exported as images or source. http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...Library.md.png Final Cut Pro X Final Cut Pro X is arguably the best video editing software I have ever used. http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...700x437.md.jpg Coda Coda is an all in one code editor, ftp client, MySQL client. It allows you to quickly and easily access all your code for different projects but the feature I find most useful is the on the fly MySQL client that even outweighs clients like Navicat. http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...terface.md.png Scrivener Scrivener is a powerful content-generation tool for writers that allows you to concentrate on composing and structuring long and difficult documents. While it gives you complete control of the formatting, its focus is on helping you get to the end of that awkward first draft. It allows you to save web pages, links, photos, any type of media within your project to use as reference material that's quickly and easily available from the editor. It has a cards based outlining tool. I've seen nothing else that compares. http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...640x400.md.jpg Leaf Leaf is an RSS / XML News Reader on steroids. Not only does it allow you to quickly read full articles regardless of whether the feed is summary only, but it allows you to snapshot, catalog and save articles of interest for later reference. It also keeps all the images intact and removes advertising http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...800x500.md.jpg Cinemagraph Pro Cinemagraph Pro for Mac is the award-winning pro tool designed exclusively for creating amazing cinemagraph images. http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...001e562.md.jpg Logic Pro X On my Music workstation I have Logic Pro X. I use Ableton Live and Native Instruments Maschine but it's Logic Pro that provides all the functionality I need to do final mixes. http://bbspics.com/images/2015/09/12...station.md.png There's more but I think I have made my point. |

I use Apple OS X and the great apps on it because they're great, not because they are just good enough. Most people use Windows because "it's good enough" but it's not great, it doesn't inspire, it's boring and functional without being inspiring. |

Give up, Mr. King - arguing with Windows-heads about Apple & Macs is pointless. Here's the truth about them. Many Apple users including myself, used to use PC's. We have tried both platforms, and prefer Apple products now because they are simply better, for us at least. PC users on the other hand NEVER try Mac and prefer to keep with what they know instead of branch out. And yet they call us "Sheeple". |
I use Mac and PC daily. I like them both for different reasons.
At the end of the day, they are all just tools that can help you complete tasks. How you use those tools is completely up to you. I can do more with my PC than most people can on their Mac, and I can do more on my Mac than most people can with their PC. The user. That's it. |

Windows users use Windows because everyone else does, OS X users use OS X because they broke out of the herd and found something better. |

This is also why I like android over iphone. Many choices of phones/tablets for my needs. I'm not being told to pick the 6 or 6s. My phones have usb and micro sd cards rather than over paying for a 64gig or 128 gig iphone. |
