My SEO isn't working.
 

I built a site and optimizing it for a little over two months. For some reason, the site just isn't ranking well. It's not even indexing properly with Google. There are some 30 internal links and only 3 of them are currently indexed. I've checked, and triple checked and everything is the way it should be. I built another site using almost the exact copy (spun it so it wouldn't be duplicate content), and after 2 weeks, it ranks higher and has more pages indexed with Google. Also ranks higher for the search terms I targeted on Bing and Yahoo.

Any SEO folks in here have any ideas what could cause this? In all my years, I've never seen anything like it.

Did somebody own the domain before? Could be burned? Any spammy backlinks? Robots.txt file is set right?

Did you try webmaster tools and get any warning messages?

Check its backlink footprint via ahrefs.com you might be using a recycled ultra-spammed domain
