To stream webcam to multiple networks

Besides video splitting at the source, how can I do webcam shows on multiple networks?

I do not have the upload speed to send the feed to multiple locations, so I am looking at a server option so I upload to the server and it feeds to multiple networks urls from there. Is Wowsa an option? Hosts, tell me more and sell me!

We are building a network of models connected to multiple websites at the same time.
Right now we have 22 websites connected and once you get online you will become visible on all those website.

However amount of websites is not the key, sometimes it is better to work on a single website with 1000x more traffic than each small cam site.

More details about ModelNet: Model exchange with video chat network

PS: If you are looking to start your own webcam business and work as model along with other models we are happy to help with affordable software solution.

The idea is good, but even if you have a wowza server, abd theorically it could be a repeater of streams, it is difficult to make it work integrated with the different cam sites. There is not like a standard for all cam sites to receive stream from a server, rather than a PC. The reason is, should the cam sites provide some "API" or way to send video from a server and chat interface separately, instead most have a single flash client that manage both chat and video streaming, implying comes from your pc cam. Some cam sites allow sending video from an encoder, that could be hacked to send from a server, but it is rocket science.

So what we get in reality, it is super slow splitcammed streams sent to multiple sites. Model splits her bandwidth so resulting video in the various sites is bad and choppy in all of them.

So what are the other options that webhosts can provide?

Hi Boobgirl,

This might be what you are looking for : MBase Videochat Networking system for LiveCamNetwork

Put simply, it lets you broadcast live video chat on your own solo-model site for members, and / or for pay per minute chat, and lets you to license your live stream to other solo-model or regular video chat sites within the network.

If this is what you are thinking about, contact me and I can provide you with a demo and or a free 30 day trial.

Being in 2 or 3 sites is ok. You just have to be sure you have the right webcamsplitter software, and powerful CPU (some time the slow down is because of CPU not because of internet), and a fast internet connection in upstream (DSL is slow in upstream and fast in downstream is not ok - you need cable or whatever sends fast too).
Being in 5-10 sites that's what most est european and south american models do, and studios, some have powerful internet lines and no slow downs, but, it is crazy for following the 5-10 chats.

Thanks everyone, but I am not interested in starting a network. I have two scenerios. Do streamate private shows, but show higher quality than what streamate allows for the members feed (those that pay per min get hi def, those that watch as part of my site get low def), but also if I want to do shows on MFCs and Chaterbate at the same time, but my land land barely gives me enough to do one stream, unsplit. I do not have any options to improve my internet.

Does this exist? Idea No 149732

Cam girl streams video to 3rd party site.
Various cam sites download stream via url.

So 50 sites can each download the stream as required which wouldn't be affected by the camgirls upload only limited by the hosts speed.

Dawn are you using the Streamate feature that allows you to use their system to stream to your paysite members?

Yes, and it sucks for my members. Limited screen size and features vs the paying members. i also have another setup to have members only shows that are much higher quality than what streamates, so since they do not wish to improve their feature, i wish to have the option where both get a high quality show.
