Do you believed in cursed houses?
The house next door to my parents has a long string of wicked things happen to the people that have lived there. This has been going on since the early 90's, when I still lived with my parents. No one has ever owned it, it's always been a rental property.
1 - Neighbors that lived there while I lived with my folks. He was a young VP at a bank, and ended up a full blown alcoholic. Things got bad and she filed for divorce. Moved out, and got back together. He went to rehab to get his life back together. Now he's pretty high over at BOA, they have two kids, and are very happy.
2. Young couple just married. She ended up cheating on him and they separated. Married less than 8 months, lived in the house 7 out of the 8.
3. Older couple, guy owned a pretty successful restaurant chain. They rented the house while their "dream house" was being built. Before it was finished, his business partners fucked him, he was arrested, and she filed for divorce. Not sure if their dream home was ever finished.
4. Young single girl, worked as a bartender. Her parents rented the house for her. She disappeared leaving work one night. This was on the local and national news, they had a missing person search going on. They found her dead in her car, under water in a lake down the street. Case is still open.
5. The couple that lives there now. I was over there today and the guy is a pretty nice dude. He owns a transportation company. I saw him packing up his shit, and they've only lived there about 6 months. I asked if he was moving, and he and his wife both said that they had to leave the house. Their words exactly, "This place is evil. There's something wrong about this place. It's not haunted, it's hard to explain." -- my skin crawled when they said that.
I have been in that house once my entire life. We used to have neighborhood poker games, and we agreed to do it there. The whole night, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me. Something was off, it was almost like a feeling of constant dread. I never believed in curses or bad mojo, but I'm pretty sure this house is a bad deal for anyone that lives there.
