Chain of command includes usually.. commands. So, what they command? How does the command chain participate into action? And most notably, is any one of those a military leader, even the first one?

I'm hearing more and more how the US, either inadvertently or "vertently", is supporting ISIS so they can bring down Assad with impunity. Only 7% of Americans voted to bring down this "horrible tyrant" so the government does what it usually does and does around us.

Democrats and Republicans, they can't keep the government open for kids with cancer, but they jump all over a chance to waste trillions of $ and thousands of american lives to bring down arab states, apparently without an ounce of planning for the vaccum that results. Hows Iraq working for you, Mr. Bush? How's Libya and Egypt working for you, Mr. Obama? Guarantee you Libya and Egypt turn into even bigger pots of islamic chaos.
