Same here. I go through life with a scorched earth approach but I admire Halcyon and his ability to embrace peace, love, and all that other bullshit. I couldn't live that way for more than 30 minutes.

It sounds as if you suffer from sort of inner turmoil. Something deep down inside that you're too afraid to admit.

I remember Hal's frequent anecdotes about Burning Man - and some of the pink creations they'd come up with. Always wanted to check it out sometime.

He was one of the truly interesting folk here on GFY. Miss him and Tassy both.

Those were the days. Didn't College Club have its name on a building in downtown SD? I think it was 98 or 99.

Years ago I ended up sitting next to him at a dinner Flashcash was throwing. Normally I dread the industry 4 hour dinners because they are boring as fuck. Ended up chatting with him the whole time and he was one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met.

fuck yeah we did! :1orglaugh we both were working there before that even, in a shithole over near the stadium.

I don't do a ton of personal social media stuff, but I do have John on those accounts. He's a breath of fresh air, and his Grandpa Caleb videos show where it stems from.

Hal is a great guy, first met him at the original IslandGathering back in 2001 and he was great to hang out and chat. Glad I still have him as a friend and we still chat once and a while.

Yes he is Halcyon, a fucking Great Man, a true PsyHead and Human in my eyes. From time to time when I see him in videos like this, the 'My Hero' feeling is getting stronger in me.
