service economy? think again LOL
Whilst waiting for my oven to finish I was thinking of the future of the world and how globalization will affect us all and I came to the conclusion that the USA-s future as a service economy is nothing but a pipe dream...
We are all witness to the massive shift in production from the USA to china and other 3rd world cheap labour, no regulations countries, but what really got me thinking was why would the rest not move to china as well? the "service economy" part that americans think they will do in the future... Keeping in mind that most of the money is now globalized and the corporations are more and more international (obvious tax and business reasons) , WHY ON EARTH do americans think that the future of any sort of service economy is in the USA? with all the regulations, unions, high costs of labour , high taxes it is natural that the corporations will go where this is cheapest... I am not talking about today but in 10-20 years time...why would a big corp start some new research lab in the USA when they can do the whole job 10x cheaper in india?...india launched a successful mission to mars at 10% of the cost of the US mission... this principle applies to practically every aspect of any non production job you can think of... back to my chicken/onion/cheese/honey/mustard piadina :thumbsup oh btw I am literally the eastern euro nostradamus :2 cents: |
If your people would stop worrying about the US and its future maybe your country could raise its average salary to over 13000 a year. When i lay in a pile of shit i dont laugh at the guy in the next town over with a booger on his nose.

Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Intel, GOOGLE, Yahoo, Uber, Airbnb - do these names ring a bells for you ?
hint: they are not from India nor China, nor Russia. and they have more than enough money to start any research in any field (the biggest ones of course) |

apple employs 47K people in the USA most of this are shop jobs they sell I shit, whilst they employ a minimum of 200.000 in china...most apple parts are made in germany and japan the USA sees less than 10% of the total profit...my argument stands microsoft 30-40K in USA and 90K world wide, they are laying off people in the USA 18K in june 2014...my argument stands google 46K worldwide, 28K USA...my argument is plausible yahoo 10K employees worldwide, wanted to lay off 5K...take yahoo LOL who cares.... uber is in 58 countries and 300 cities (edit) lets not waste time... airbnb 1600 people total...who cares? so they are ALREADY doing what I said will happen...why would anybody plan more jobs in the USA when its waaay more cost efficient to do it abroad? my argument has a huge penis... the employment stats that you posted are sign of the times and they have nothing to do if the company is in US or not. it's just like that - there will be less and less jobs for people as many things got automated.
anyway - the corporations that I posted are US based, they were invented by US guys, developed over there and from there conquered whole world (without bombs)- and that means a lot, dont you think ? now, find me a hooker in US for 30 bucks/ hour or nurse for 5 usd/ hour...just like you may find in Serbia... btw. is writing about US your idea fixe ? your Holy Graal ? maybe its not that healthy, you know ? I am not arguing that the owners of the corporations did not get a good deal or that they are not leaders in the market, I am arguing that these companies are there to make money- for themselves- and not the USA...it is not by chance that the 100K jobs you posted above are dwarfed by the number of jobs outside the USA...these companies were founded in the USA but the shareholders want max profit so the corps go china...all future development is planned in china, the shareholders do not give a shit about US jobs...the suicide nets at apples plant in china paints a clear picture what it takes to be a "winner" you speak of these corporations like they are some sort of US asset when in fact they are in game for themselves only and not you guys...you speak as though it is their plan to employ america when it is obviously not... what exactly will americans do in 20 years? you will produce nothing, be the empire of nothing, and you will rely on "service economy" even though it is prone to the same f/laws as production economy= pay workers less-----> succeed more... I am not worrying about the USA why do you think this? Just bored and trolling with some legit questions ect...nothing wrong with a weekend poke to relieve the boredom :thumbsup |

it's not "me", "you" or "us" , as I'm NOT American (as far as I remember :winkwink: ).
its true what are you saying about big corporations and its true that US is a land of big, money greedy corporations without any morals, just the profit... thats the problem not only of US, but also of rest of the world. but yeah, in US, its on bigger scale Quote:
