I want to try something different, Django or Ruby On Rails?
 

I have a domain I want to play around with. Thinking of something different. I am trying to learn Python now. Want do you think of Django?

To learn python + django it takes more time than learn ruby on rails, I tell you. If you don't want to make super custom online science projects, is quicker the ruby way.

Anyway, I personally use python and take a look at this online tutorial to have an idea what it takes to make a django modern site:

For Django I suggest pycharm pro ide from jetbrains.

Ruby is awesome, do that. And it's in the sky with diamonds.

Thanks. I am gonna watch that whole series. I think I am gonna watch a ton of tutorials on Ruby and Django. Then, maybe choose one. I have ROR already installed on my Netbook with Ubuntu, So I am set to screw around. This is gonna be fun.

Anyone wanting to learn Python (plain python, then you have to lean Django or else stuff separately) I wrote nice notes from a few books, I can't publish because copy paste's but I can email to selected GFY guys. Email request of python pdf to info 4t tubecamgirl dot com.
I done an even nicer pdf for C/C++ too but I guess that's not of interest for gfy guys. Writing now a pdf about calculus/linear algebra in sympy/scipy from base to multivariate, ode, pde and hope to end up to quantum and string theory but may take a few years :)

i prefer ruby on rails , ruby is much more better imho
