US Missiles destroy Russian built tanks LOL
Did U.S. weapons supplied to Syrian rebels draw Russia into the conflict? - The Washington Post

Saudi Arabia just bought 500 more of those missiles for the rebels. Last week those missiles destroyed over 15 armored vehicles.

Escalation much?

Just send Obama to Syria to calm things down with a nice speech.

Imagine if a major war broke out over the shiitehole Syria. I can't think of any place less worth throwing our tax money at. As far as I'm concerned, the Russians are welcome to decimate the Syrians, the "moderate" rebels, the not-so-moderate ones, and every man jack in between. What a farce, what an irresponsible waste of war-making capability. Political leadership needs to have its collective head examined.

You must get your education in US of A stupid? This is old Russia tanks, new tank ares indestructable. Tip: Russian Poo 72-Super Poo tanks. Google it, idiots. I serve in Moscow specnaz and we was best. I don't like Putin idiots, I like other Russia.

What I don't like is putting these weapons in the hands of the ''Taliban of the future" like how we armed Osama's Jihadists during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan -- that came back to bite us. This will become a total cluster fuck ... If the rebels win Saudi Arabia may be next ... |
This is what I did in the Marines really, TOW Gunner, MOS 0352.

Nobody in gov, especially big oil lobbyists want cheap oil. You're about to see a spike. Remember the meltdown in 2008 and where gas prices were at? US is operating in Syria at the behest of the 51st State AND big oil. Its about flow control and dominating energy markets. |

If you think that a modern military force can win on the ground against asymmetrical warfare tactics you are badly mistaken. Right now, the FSA is adopting ISIS style asymmetrical warfare tactics -- suicide bombers will be waiting for the Syrian Assad government army and any accompanying Russian and/or Iranian ground forces. The USA is not equipping the FSA with shoulder launched anti-aircraft missiles (*yet) like we did for the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan -- you better hope this doesn't change. Obviously, you arrogant Russians have forgotten your Afghanistan experience and Putin is not following his own advise to the USA when we entered Afghanistan (and Iraq). Why you Russians (or we Americans) are fighting over a shit-hole like Syria where you cannot win anything worth winning makes no sense. Standing back and letting the locals fight it out to the end while containing the conflict to manageable proportions is the only wise thing to do. I am looking forward to the Iranian ground assault -- the Iranians will be bleeding for years. The Israelis and Turks will just sit back and watch (if they are smart) and watch their enemies destroy each other while Russia and the USA feeds weapons to the combatants toward their mutual destruction. This can only be a lose-lose cluster fuck as there is nothing worth winning. |
Okay, who wants to alert the sarcasm police?

Oil politics and wars are outdated ideas.
Iran and the Gulf States will be drinking their oil and eating their sand soon -- they need a new plan to survive or they will be camel herders once again -- and they know it. Some oil exporting economies are crashing now others will follow in time. China may have it's own oil reserves in the south China Sea. In 20 or 30 years, oil consumption will be 25% of what it is today -- the writing is on the wall. |

Since the 1970s when OPEC brought us to our knees the US has been bending over to please the Middle East. Now we produce more oil than them, and at the same time we are transitioning over to electric cars. The price of oil is coming down, and will most likely stay down. The very same system that ensured they made money hand over fist is now going to be their downfall. |

How is it relevant where the tanks were made in this particular case? As if thy would not have been destructed if made somewhere else?
