Zzzzzzzzz. Just had a 12hr sleep.

Haven'the had a sleep like that in a while. Must have been needing it. Not even up once for the toilet :1orglaugh
Oh well better get some work done.

What'she the longest you can go these days ? I usually only sleep for 6 hrs most nights... :helpme:warning

CurrentlySober 10-14-2015 06:41 AM

You are not alone. While I struggle to sleep more than 5 hours, I too never bother getting up for the toilet either :thumbsup

J. Falcon 10-14-2015 06:45 AM

I rarely sleep 8 hrs without waking up at least a few times, unless I'm very tired. I go to piss once or twice at night, and I usually wake up from dreams too.

CaptainHowdy 10-14-2015 06:52 AM

Eight to seven hours and a 20 minute nap during the day ...

Spunky 10-14-2015 06:56 AM

Lucky to get 4 on any given night

michael.kickass 10-14-2015 06:59 AM

I'm jealous, I can't even remember when was the last time I had a good sleep. :(

That is actually good. I know many people that sleep 12 hours a day.

BlackCrayon 10-14-2015 08:56 AM

Rochard 10-14-2015 09:14 AM

Sweet spot for me is 6.5-7 hours! No piss breaks and I wake up without an alarm. Years of conditioning to prepare me for that lol.

SilentKnight 10-14-2015 10:17 AM

This thread is putting me to sleep.

Paul Markham 10-14-2015 10:57 AM

I go to bed 10:30 to 11:00, dog wakes me at 8:00 on the dot. It's time to feed him. So at least someone needs me. At weekends I can sleep though to 10:00 or later.

Have a nap in the afternoon on the couch, 2-3 hours. Depending on dog wanting to go out, come in, daughter or wife arriving home.

This is the norm if I'm busy, if I'm not I can sleep longer. LOL

That's cos you are old.

aka123 10-14-2015 11:26 AM

8-9,5 hours. I sleep badly, so I need about 9-9,5 hours to feel actually somewhat refreshed.

By the way; old people sleep less than young people, not more. Well, at least naturally as old people need less sleep. All the gramps go to bed "late" and wake up early morning and feel swell. Young people may do that as well, but they feel like shit and drink lot of coffee, red bulls, take medication, etc.

I sleep 8-9 daily. If I slept only 6 hours for couple days I would definitely do 10-12 hours for the third day.

Ps: I never wake up for the toilet while I am sleeping.

I usually sleep 4-5 hrs a night. Most I go straight is 7 hrs or so. If I sleep much longer, I end up with headaches and muscle aches. :disgust

Denny 10-15-2015 03:45 AM

Usually 5-10 hours/night for me :pimp

Paul&John 10-15-2015 05:21 AM

Depends how drunk I get during the night..

aka123 is right. I'm just bone idle and have some great dreams. Last night I dreamed I was a leader of a group fighting zombies.

Time for the second instalment, so off for a nap. :1orglaugh

Umm. Because i'm asleep...

I would be miserable (ok, surely it is not the most inconvenient thing out of what people suffer, but still sucks) if I had to get up for the toilet. I guess this may be inevitably coming in the old age? I mean some people start doing it from younger ages and some from older, but everybody starts doing that?
Or can I expect to live till 80 years old and no not have to do that? :winkwink:

Would be cool to see some statistics on this topic :)

johnnyloadproductions 10-15-2015 10:59 AM

I'm a skeptic of anyone that says they get less than 6 hours. I need between 7-8 for consistency.

Funny how when I meet most people that don't get enough sleep other parts of them are a wreck... like being excessively overweight, being chinless...

Cut stupid things out of your day. Sleep isn't an idle time, the brain is undergoing changes in addition to repairing the body as well.

And to give it some context, here are my overall activity stats, with my sleep at the bottom...

(Ignore the weight section - I dont have the fancy scales that make that bit work...)

i think it depends more on how much liquids you consume in the evening hours.

Well if you are healthy and can get by with that, then good.

Not really for me. That only influence how much I want to piss when i wake up in the morning. As in if I drink a lot in the evening I run crazy to the toilet, but that does not affect me in a way that I would wake up earlier because of that.
I mean I can drink 2 liters straight up and i still could sleep 10 hours and only then run to bathroom.

romeo22 10-15-2015 01:33 PM

I usually speel 7h but iven if i do go to woej

mineistaken 10-16-2015 04:16 AM

Just slept for only 6 hours. You can definitely feel that you are not 100% rested, also you can feel a little bit in your eyes (if you know that feeling in your eyes when you sleep just a little).

I do not believe you who claim to sleep 6 hours daily are on your 100% capacity. You are actually tired at least a little, maybe you do not notice because you are used to it as a "normal" state.

SekobA 10-16-2015 11:05 AM

Good for you dude! That mean you dont have ptlroblem at all
