Toyota also plans to go full electric by 2020. That's 5 years away for those who are math challenged.

The writing is very much on the wall. Things are changing very fast. These companies are not dumb, they see the writing on the wall and are making the needed changes to stay competitive.

no they don't. they're investing heavily in fuel cell vehicles. and they only project an uptick in electric sales from 1.3 million cars per year in 2015 to 1.5 million/year in 2020

They'll release a hybrid car that runs on electricity only when being tested for emissions and runs on diesel the rest of the time.
