Verotel Support gone missing? WTF!

Not so happy to open this thread but i am fucking pissed off!

Last week i migrated one of my paysites from one host to another. During the migration process something went wrong and i lost the Verotel USer Management script files
and everything that came with it.

I had a backup of my website but only in it's original state ( only content )without any
billing/users management script.

I contacted merchantsupport from Verotel explaining that i need them to reinstall the script for me as i am not too sure how to do it 100% so it's better that they do it.

The email was sent last week on 09.October. ..No response whatsoever in the following days. I emailed yesterday again....No response again.

I know they launched this "CardBilling" thing and they are busy with the new customers but at least reply to those damn emails. Why the fuck it's called "support" if nobody cares to read / reply to the support requests?
You you guys are so "overwhelmed" with the new signups and shit, why the fuck you didn't took care of this mater before launching this service. Hire more people FFS! You have the funds to pay for new coders or whatever jobs you need covered.

Since i am a Verotel partner (or whatever the fuck it's called these days) for more than i year i thought that i deserve at least a email reply, not to mention existing members that require support should have some kind of priority over new ones.

I do pay all those fucking fees and % for every god damn transaction so if i am not making money..they don't make money as well. So where's the logic in this?

All this time i had only great things to say about Verotel, everything was more than Ok, but now this issue is something that is affecting my business and i'm losing money everyday.

As they say - you get what you pay for.

Your mileage may vary, but, in my experience, Verotel do not pay.

That might be your experience. I can't say anything about that as i do not know the facts.
From my experience, the payouts have been always on time. Every week, clockwork.

My problem was not related to payouts, i can't say anything about that as i always got my money with no delays whatsoever.

Same. I typically get paid EARLY via ACH and it's been that way for a decade.

As for support, did you try contacting Jason? Were you emailing general support@ or merchantsupport@ as they are two different work groups as I understand it. One for customers and one for merchants. The script you need is available in their control panel along with full instructions on how to set up. You web host most likely could have done this, depending on if you have managed support or not.

While I can understand your frustration, and Verotel support can be slow at times. Overall they have been a good company and my longest third party billing company I still use to date. I recommend them highly as they fit for most small to midmarket pay site owners.

Yes i know about the script, i even tried to install myself but failed. i am not that "tech savy", i am taking care of some other things that do not require that kind of knowledge.

After the script was installed the guy who did it has shown me what was the
problem with my attempt and i can say that i could have never guessed to do that

And yes, i was speaking with Jason , and i appreciate his help but he couldn't do much. It appears they had some tech staff issues ( few people to handle too many install requests)

i was emailing at merchantsupport@

ANyways, now the script it's installed and i can take care of my business

How long has it been since you were a Verotel customer? Just curious, as I've seen you post this several times now.

They were good for us for several years (as you know)...but we ditched them when they rolled out the extra fees.

Same. Only payment issue I can recall is that I assumed my last payment would be issued automatically, since they were closing my account, but it turned out that I had to manually set the minimum payout lower to trigger a payout. That was a minor hiccup in 10+ years of being a customer and it was nice to have a bit of extra beer money when the final cheque came in.

j3rkules 10-19-2015 02:06 AM

About time.

celandina 10-20-2015 08:18 AM

There are two Verotel guys here go and look at their threads and ask them :thumbsup

CaptainHowdy 10-20-2015 08:33 AM

Zero Hero, Verotel's support, was killed by a flood of Paypal assasins.

Now regarding the complaint (real or not real)... We handle these!!
This is the reason why we have a customer support dept :winkwink:

So we actually hired some new people to add to this customer support dept over the last few weeks and they needed to be brought up to speed. We already had some contact about this with candidhotties directly and our other partners who had to wait longer than they are used to with us...

So this it.. Just a very simple explanation and we again apologize but we can inform that since the beginning of this week the waiting lines are gone.. We try to help everyone as good as we can and if you have some issues please feel free to contact me directly

We hope everyone has a good weekend!
