Does vintage porn sell?

I see a few vintage sites out there and was wondering if they convert at all. Surely most vintage clips are all over the tubes? Any affiliates make decent money promoting vintage sites or are they pretty useless? By vintage I mean sites that show anything from the 1930s up to the 1990s.

If you have a quality content, it still can sell with the right traffic.

Good for generating traffic, but hard to get people to pull the Creditcard out

Horatio Caine 10-16-2015 02:18 PM

That be amateur vintage. Pro stuff doesn't.

The Porn Nerd 10-16-2015 02:45 PM

Yes it does. But we're talking sixties, seventies, some eighties stuff. Post 1990 not so much. Not yet anyway (give it another ten years).

AmeliaG 10-16-2015 03:59 PM

I used to be able to sell 50's and earlier, but there aren't really any sponsors in the space any more.

yep, tru dat

Paul Markham 10-17-2015 03:30 AM

Most of the Pro Stuff is saturated by the few selling it.

I had a site with my 80s and 90s content on and it did well. It was a low traffic good ratio niche. We did no work on it. Even on C4S it still works fine.

Now is the time to start one Playboy styled without all the fakeness and with a variety of body shapes.

faxxaff 10-17-2015 07:39 AM

Problem with real vintage porn is that you can't copyright the contend after 75 years. Even if you would find boxes of it on a flea market, it would go straight to public domain.

LetterTwenty7 10-17-2015 07:42 AM

I did some writing for a vintage website a couple of months ago, so it looks like there are webmasters who are still ready to invest in order to improve their vintage porn site.

The problem is there are no good vintage porn sites. Everyone now just gets their shit on tubes.

Basiccacib 10-23-2015 09:04 AM

If it's done right it will sell, haven't really seen it done right before, but I have faith!

Vintage amateur?

Yes indeed.... going all the way back to 1982.

You can actually chart the history of hairdos (top and bottom) from the Homegrown library.
