Avatar uploading does not work?
 

JPEG file is resized to below than 150x150, is below 19.5 kB, still the uploading process gives me an "empty picture" instead of an avatar.

What can the problem be?

Perhaps like mine, your face is too ugly to be displayed on GFY?

Seriously though, drag my avatar pic onto your desktop and try uploading that, cause we know it works. Then, if it doesn't work the problem must be at your end. If it does, perhaps there is something wrong with the one you are trying to upload?

According to the properties of your av, its not a .jpg but a .gif that 1x1 pixel

Wonders of gfy... I do "not have a profile" but I can still post.

I did as you said. Same result.

I use Safari and the latest Mac OS. Why would anything be wrong with that?

PS - I saw, that one day my avatar was "gone". Previously, it worked. Apparently something happened to my account or to my avatar settings. Help me out please.

I had issues last month when i changed my gjf.. They made the max size a lot smaller so i spent way too much time reducing the size of the file...

Try using another browser? I use chrome personally but am also on a mac... Aside from that I really dunno - Good luck :upsidedow

PS - Also try setting it to NOT use an avatar. Save it then log out of GFY - Restart mac (I know you shouldn't have too, but it covers all bases) Then re-login to GFY and try uploading it again.
