Dang! Well, can't all be winners - otherwise, might not be a sustainable contest model :)

Maybe not so much if it was a Sniff and Win contest - unless you are really limber and flexible ;)

j3rkules 10-21-2015 01:37 AM

Quite a few tries so far, but no winner yet. BTW, I know it requires an email address to participate. We have a zero spam policy. We only email those on our opt-in/opt-out mailing list. No emails will ever be sent to those who participate in this content, and nor will your email addresses be sold, shared, or made available with any third parties. That said, you can use a bogus email address (some have already). But if you do, and you win, its your responsibility to email us with your Ticket Number to claim your prize. Otherwise, feel free to use bogus email addresses: just please make sure you do not use a valid one belonging to someone else.

This Scratch and Win app is a third party script. I've noticed that it only allows one play per 24 hours. So, you would need to re-try 24 hours later. Not to my liking, and not the way this sort of thing is usually done. I edited the script to check on the basis of calendar day. So, for example, if you play at 11:59pm, you can re-try again anytime after midnight. No need to wait at least 24 hours. I may also better the odds of winning.

PSDan I gave it a quick look but didnt see the one thing I need most....blocking proxy servers does PS do that?

additionally, if it can be done, can it be done for every site on the server or just a site by site basis

Blocking proxies would solve 99% of all the problems I have.

What the fuck are you supposed to do?
I just see 3 pics and a load of random option..

Hi Mike:

The optional PHP Authentication Plugin offers this capability. You can define which ports (default are 80|3128|8080) to check in proxy testing. It works site by site via PS Admin Control Panel on domain that PS license was purchased, and PS is installed.

Sorry! But, if it was that easy, we'd be in trouble :) I may better the odds to see how it works.

PaperstreetWinston 10-22-2015 06:12 PM

Ahh, the Lada. I remember back in the day when a car dealership in Vancouver (Burnaby actually) sold Ladas. They sold two for the price of two so you could use the second one for parts :) Sorry, no Lada. Nada. Would you settle for a slightly used '76 VW Beatle?

stoka 10-23-2015 02:22 AM

two for the price of two? wtf lol

Moskvich =/= Lada

if well maintained '76 _slightly_ used Beetle is a gem, possibly as valuable as brand new one

Okay, I'll start boxing the car. It's the Beetle of the Month Club Scratch & Win. You won! Send me your address, and I'll send you the first box: LW wheel. You should have the vehicle complete in November, 2022. Contest winner responsible for shipping and handling charges, and vehicle assembly.
