In less than three minutes, Sasheer Zamata explained just how problematic privilege is.

In a new video from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), SNL comedian and ACLU ambassador Sasheer Zamata takes a walk with a white, male co-worker whose misguided perception of equality prompts her to explain how deep sexism and racism still run in American culture.

The pair cover topics including street harassment, diversity in Hollywood, white privilege, police brutality, sexism in the workplace and feminism.

"Sean," a white male who clearly forgot to check his privilege that morning, offers his point of view. ?In my experience everybody here in this country is treated fairly," he says to Zamata as a police officer stops and frisks her.

In another scene, Zamata's fictional colleague is given the key to the city because he declared he's a feminist. Surprisingly, Zamata does not receive the same rewards.

The noting of equality is absurd, none of us are equal. And that's where the equality myth falls down. America has a black President, odds on will get a woman President next. The UK has top women, blacks, Asians in Government and business.

They're just worked harder to be more equal than people who think equality is a gift.

i am not sure what would happen if tomorrow a mob of police decided to open fire on some local restaurant, cause there were plenty of black 'gang looking people' present. but shit would hit the fan.

this is what happened during this 'biker shooting'. it is currently being stated that the only ones to open fire were the police themselves.

I watched a documentary on the KKK. They were ranting how they were hard put on, and superior because they were white. Which was in their mind, their only plus point, they were scum whatever color they were.

It's the same with women claiming they're kept out of top jobs. They're kept out by their own abilities.

And attractive actresses who complain that after their looks have gone, they don't get work or decent parts. Not thinking the only reason they got any work in the first place was their looks.

In the UK we have an MP who is only an MP because she's a black woman. She's now in the shadow cabinet as the token stupid black woman, to show Labour, the opposition, don't discriminate against the retarded. The US elected Presidents for the same reasons. LOL

I have travelled the world. I have gone through so many customs lines I could not even begin to count them. I have been searched a few times and singled out for questioning around a dozen times.

But in comparison to how much I have travelled, I am not even searched or singled out 1% of the times. I am white and have the luxury of carrying one of the most respected passports in the world. The blacks, hispanics, asians and middle easterners I have travelled with get singled out around 30% of the times.

I am just very thankful that I do not have to deal with that, I could never have done all that travelling had I been searched so often. In fact, one employer told me that a big reason I was even contracted was due to my passport and being white, because he knew what problems could arise otherwise.

I thought this place was cracking down on racism? .... no? Well okay.
