Good Download Limit solution in 2015?
 

Is there a good throttling or download limit software/module that has been developped recently? I was using throttlebox by Ray Morris but they seem to have discontinued it and I'm struggling to stop my worst members ripping my sites' bandwidth :( :helpme

check out proxy pass. I've used them for password sharing for 8+ years and they are great. I don't really use the BW limit feature but I know they have one and it works

Anyone using their throttling solution?

I've installed PS actually :) It does a great job disabling and monitoring password traders.

But as Daniel told me "throttling in BM was disabled in last PS update due to issues. We are working towards sourcing BM to a third party to develop a Apache Module (written in C) to replace our existing PHP solution. A C module will be much improved (much faster with lower load of server and applicable to all file types), and have the throttling functionality."

ProxyPass is great for limiting Members downloads. But I often get emails from Members complaining about the limits. But I figure they have a month+ to download shit so why do it al in one day? LOL

What sort of daily limits is anyone setting on the number of GBs you're letting your members download?
