What's the coolest thing you ever saw or did in a video game?
Real not fake.

The call of duty game that opened with you slaughtering a bunch of civilians in an airport was pretty cool. Makes me wish they'd make a whole game about being a terrorist.

Newsflash: Things you do in video games are never real in case you missed it. |
I don't care what anyone says...that's a good time. |
real or fake? Are you for real with that question HAHA WTF

Built a persistent gaming clan when MMOs first became popular and grew it large enough that the gaming company asked us to disband because we were ruining their server population by dominating the rest of the player-base. EA invited me to alpha test games of theirs and tried to get me to bring customers to one of their over-hyped titles before it became vaporware....
That was 15+ years ago... when I should have been launching low quality paysites and raking in cash from 640x480 videos on rotation :2 cents: |
Coolest moment had to be when I designed a custom map level (with original graphics) for Duke Nukem 3D back in the mid-90s.
I was never a 'gamer' - persay. I just wanted to create a custom level and feature my own images on the walls and stuff. So I figured out how to create map levels with the build engine. |
Ain't got time for games.. Need to make money.
Nah, just kidding. I'm going to fire the Playstation up right now. :thumbsup |
When I played my first video game of all time. Duck Hunt with my NES orange and grey gun. That is the coolest thing I ever played, the joy i got from shooting those ducks right down to that dog with his sarcastic giggle when you missed, new games come and they may be flashier but those 8 bit pixels brought me the greatest joy out of any video game I ever played since then

I used to play on a "high jump" Call Of Duty server. Basically they change the settings on the game so you can jump higher and in some cases jump out of the map. Because I have two video cards on crack, with a minor setting change on my end, I could pretty much fly. It was neat. When they make the maps they don't plan on anyone being able to get out, so there are all kinds of secret rooms and stuff.

Coolest thing was making Mario jump over the flag pole and land on the other side in the original Super Mario Bros game.

I played the Battlefield series back in the day. I ejected from a jet that was getting shot down by AA. I managed to parachute right on top of the AA vehicle right as the guy got out to repair. I immediately entered the vehicle and shot the shit out of the dude. There was a spawn beacon close by and I ended up killing him 28 times trying to get back into the AA vehicle.
I also ejected from a plane and shot down another plane with an RPG while parachuting once. And the craziest thing actually got me suspended from the server for a week. I spawned as a sniper and just started randomly scoping and shooting waiting for a helicopter to spawn. It splashed on my screen that I killed x-player with a sniper shot of 2,970 - a headshot none-the-less. Pure coincidence, I was shooting and the round carried across the map and killed the other guy at his spawn. That got me into a little trouble. Now you have me missing games. It's been at least 10 years since I've played one. |

Used the secret hiding spot in pacman and tied up the arcade machine for an entire day cause no one else could use it - true - video game - and... - REAL LIFE !
I WIN !!! |

Farted, possessed said fart, drove fart around and blew up stuff with it.

Finished Fallout 3...although it can never really be finished.
When I had 75 hours in Dark Souls, I snapped the ps3 disc in half so I wouldn't burn any more time in that world. I haven't played a game in a few months, and there's a couple I really want to get into now -- but I can't get involved in any more epic, 100 hour RPG things any more. I need the in and out 7 hour game experience like Call of Duty. |
at the end of metal gear solid and waiting through the credits to hear ocelot say "yes mr. president."

On Fallout New Vegas, putting heads on top of things was my jam. I had that extra bloody perk that makes enemies blow apart.

I overclocked my N64 to 3x clock speed. :upsidedow
