Biggest hurricane ever about to hit Mexico

This might be big in the news in the next few days.... Looks like a potential disaster!

Hurricane Patricia headed toward southwestern Mexico Friday as a monster Category 5 storm, the strongest ever in the Western Hemisphere that forecasters said could make a ?potentially catastrophic landfall? later in the day.

Residents of a stretch of Mexico's Pacific Coast dotted with resorts and fishing villages on Thursday boarded up homes and bought supplies ahead of Patricia's arrival.

Damn that's a bad one.

rayadp05 10-23-2015 07:14 AM

Yeah. That's a real bad one for sure. Sure glad that I am not in the path of it. Good luck to the people that are though.

SCOOTER 10-23-2015 07:18 AM

Crazy right !!

j3rkules 10-23-2015 07:22 AM

Trump is very angry.

pornguy 10-23-2015 07:27 AM

Its going to be bad. in that area a bit inland from the beaches are a lot of little villages with small homes that can not take that sort of pounding. Death toll will be bad.

2 days ago that storm was predicted to go the opposite direction.

Hurricane Patricia is quickly moving toward the west coast of Mexico and is now the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Western Hemisphere.

The category 5 storm, with sustained winds of 200 mph, could cause severe damage to coastal resort areas like Puerto Vallarta.

Looks like its going to be the big one, hopefully no one from there is still here posting.

Rob 10-23-2015 08:11 AM

i'm setting the over/under on this at 7000 dead.

and here's why, we aren't hearing stories of crazy traffic jams from masses of people fleeing the area. we hear stories of people taping up their windows.

200mph sustained winds motherfuckers. they're saying in the worst spot it will be >75mph sustained winds for 5 straight fucking days.

adios muchachos.

Well, I read this morning that this hurricane will make it all the way to Texas and will be dropping lots of rain there.... So three hours away might not be enough.

escorpio 10-23-2015 02:25 PM

Just talked to a friend that was going to go to PV next week for a friend's beach wedding. Bad timing.

Yep - she's flying into Dallas tomorrow! Her flight will be arriving at 3pm, she said the hurricane is set to hit dallas at like 4pm with 12 inches of rain? So I have no idea how it's going to go, but I know I'm sick of playing manager and I am ready for her ass to be home so fuck this hurricane.

SilentKnight 10-23-2015 04:36 PM

I have a co-worker friend vacationing down there as we speak. She's in Cancun, though...not expected to be near the eye of that thing. Still, I texted her earlier this afternoon and she says it's already "gettin' scary...gonna get a lot worse tonight."

Hoping everyone's safe.

sperbonzo 10-23-2015 06:31 PM

This is going to be horrific. There will be towns that will cease to exist. :(

.

crockett 10-23-2015 06:44 PM

That thing is a monster, hopefully the people there come through it ok. It's going to be hell just from the rain and flooding, much less the winds.
