I just want that stupid banner urging me to say hello on the Introduction forum that no longer seems to exist to go away.

But since I'm here already, I'll say that I've been in the military for about 6 years and have a few more months before I get out. I work in the intelligence field and learned to program when I was tasked with doing some stupid bullshit that I decided I would rather have the computer do for me. Recently, I've begun freelancing and have found I'm making more as a nerd for hire than what Uncle Sam is paying me. At the end of the day, however, I've decided I hate being told what to do, whether it's by some salty Senior NCO or a customer with tight deadlines.

So I've decided to embark on a journey to become completely self-reliant by combining two of my favorite things in the world: writing code and distributing porn. My skills mostly fall in the realm of backend development using Python, SQL, and MongoDB and I'm using the creation of my own adult sites as an opportunity to learn more front-end technologies. I've spent so much time working the back-end, it's time to get more of the front.

@Rob I am actually a seaman (pronounced semen). Technically a seaman is an E-3 (which I'm not) but the term could apply to anyone in the Navy. Most people prefer the term sailor. Wonder why :)
