Unlimited bandwidth and space that would be cool, I would build the biggest tube site ever. But for a self hosted small tube site you need at least one dedicated server.

Unlimited Disk space and bandwidth is just a sales gimmick. It just means the host doesn't have any official limits but as a general rule of thumb if you're needing more than 20GB disk space you definitely need better than shared. At least a VPS if not dedicated depending on how resource intensive your site actually is.

You can start on shared though, just plan to budget more for hosting in the future.

Ive had great experience with a private server on Codero.com for minimal amount. They allow adult content.

Where are you going to get your content from then ?

Id start with shared plan from Website Hosting Services, VPS Hosting & Dedicated Servers - HostGator
Its unlimited bandwidth, disk space and domains etc so its a good place to start.

Once you outgrow that you can move to VPN or Dedicated servers.

You can get a server with OVH with 1 Gbps pipe and 12 TB of storage for $89/mo. They are dedicated server wholesalers so they only support the hardware and the network connection to it. You need to know your way around a server or find someone who can manage it for you. They don't have any servers in the US or the west coast but they have their own backbone within the US and its pretty good.

the thing with large space, higher tech specs and cheap price - you get unmanaged server - you need to have a tech / admin server guy to manage your server. If it goes down or has issues - you need to have a tech person 24x7 to backup and fix the issue.
