I love Texas, especially the Austin/San Antonio area. And the entire Gulf Coast.

Maybe move trip. Every 5 years or so I like to just pickup and move. Starting completely fresh, house, friends, women, is the best way for me to stay interested in life.

I like to be interested in new things, when I get too comfortable I get lazy and crazy. Plus leaving Florida can't be all bad.

Safe journey, my friend.

escorpio 11-02-2015 07:11 PM

I would like to do a BBQ tour of Texas. Just drive around eating BBQ twice a day.

keysync 11-02-2015 07:13 PM

Keeping it interesting is important for me also. I've moved more times than I can count!
Safe travels.

I have lived in east Texas too. The tiny little city of Timpson, as well as Texarkana and also Dallas. Can't wait to go back to Austin though.

Buying a harley once is more than most of the bikers do. Talking about buying in other than your residence city.

$money$ 11-03-2015 09:57 AM

Everything is big in texas

it was actually pretty fucking cool, the harley dealer there had a fly and ride program, they flew me in, i purchased the scoot, they tanked it up and i rode it back home, 1200 miles, 3 days and quite a few crazy experiences.

texas still sucks asses though. that includes Austin/Travis county.:1orglaugh

SteveHardeman 11-03-2015 10:53 AM

The best looking women that I've ever seen have all been in Texas and all wearing jeans.

Most of Texas is shit. That is the truth, it's filled with dusty trailer park town after trailer park town..

However Austin is pretty nice as well as the areas around it. Parts of the Gulf Coast are nice as well, the parts which aren't littered with chemical plants and refineries.

I've yet to make it to the big bend area, I hear that area is nice..

New Mexico is hit or miss. Carlsbad caverns are great as are the mountains around Abq however ABQ is kinda shit.

Santa fe is a very cool town.

If you camp New Mexico has one of the best deals going for RVers. You can buy a yearly camp pass for about $300 and stay at any state camp ground for 14 days at a time for no extra cost..

Ie you could live year round at state parks in an RV for about $300. That's one of NM's best kept secrets for the RV crowd.

Also baddog is just mad he's too senile to drive a van.
