Who says you need more than $40 to make a commercial
What do you think? Keep in mind it was $40. |
It was the most depressing commercial I've ever saw

It's supposed to be dramatic, not depressing. |

Want dramatic music? Pick Hans Zimmer-ish music. |

eh i feel worst after watching it. as pointed out needs to be happier music. happier and more enthusiastic people.
i though it was like it was one of those "make me feel bad donate to black children" feel. |
I agree. if your starting a new business you should be excited as hell. Happy smile upbeat music.
|
like that black guy would know...
|
I wonder if I could pull off a happy version with the same clips of the people. They are only $5 each, I guess I could have new ones made lol
|
Not bad for that money...
|
whenever someone uses the phrase "paradigm shift" in a commercial..I'm gone...
40 bucks or not (I wouldnt have even edited that for 40 bucks) it's not a good commercial for many many reasons. hire a professional |
If we're talking about the death of the corporation, why is all the transitional imagery big, stark city skylines and bustling traffic? Why wouldn't you show small a corner mom and pop store; something fun like a candy shop, maybe with the happy owner making warm contact with a regular customer, getting an internet order and hand-writing a thank you note to put in the shipping container?
And why are all the monologues from men - most of whom aren't even attractive? Rule number one of mainstream marketing is, Put a pretty girl on the cover. And ditto, what everyone else said about the music, lack of smiles, and paradigm shifts. Re-shoot. But first, think about it. Your budget should have little to do with your thought process. |
I like it.. :2 cents:

If small business did beat corporations for once that would be unbelievably shocking. I realized I didn't use a girl the day after. Damn it! I'll do new version with some hot chicks when I'm in Costa Rica for sure. I wouldn't claim it's even close to a masterpiece, for $40 and an hour of editing though, I think it's pretty awesome. And if small business does take over someday (fingers crossed) maybe it will get put in a library. |
I don't mean to be a jerk but I've gotten better ads made on Fiverr's whiteboard animation category.
You need a better script and you need to zero in on the viewers' SENSE OF POSSIBILITY. |
