Nothing.

I don't buy used electronics.

brassmonkey 11-08-2015 09:49 AM

50 bucks? no telling what if any issues it has :2 cents::2 cents: it's a gamble so 50 bonez

Rob 11-08-2015 09:52 AM

I just bought a new one, so I'm trying to get rid of this one. Someone offered me $250 and I didn't know if that was a good deal or not. Seems a little low, but used electronics are pretty cheap these days.

In perfect condition. Just a year old and pretty much only used it as my travel laptop.

what year is it?

j3rkules 11-08-2015 09:58 AM

300$ should be a fair price.

Paul&John 11-08-2015 09:58 AM

Isn't Dual Core Intel Pentium a little shitty in todays standard ? (not judging, just asking)

I bought it brand new at the beginning of 2014.

Shitty by today's standards, yes. But still a quality processor. I run Photoshop, Office, and other processor-heavy apps on it with no problem. I wouldn't try to edit videos, but for an all purpose laptop, the processor is fine. :thumbsup

Is the RAM expandable?

Is the hard drive SSD?

The RAM is expandable to 8GB. The drive is not SSD, it's 5400 RPM.

Then it is closer to 2 years old, I would take the $250 and run!

Take the money and run.

That thing costs nothing.

Why would you say that? It's a quality device, it's worth something to someone. It's worth at least $250 to the guy who offered. But I know the guy, so I didn't know if this was a hookup price he was suggesting, or retail. :thumbsup

Colmike9 11-08-2015 11:43 AM

Look what people are buying/selling it for on Amazon. A lot of pawn shops and especially video game stores will look at the average price and offer around 30% to people selling their stuff.

You can get $300 for it easily so $250 is quite a fair price.

yuu.design 11-08-2015 04:37 PM

i will not buy that :S

brassmonkey 11-08-2015 04:39 PM

the risk of stolen property is a factor as well. not saying it is :2 cents::2 cents: seems like desperation to me based on the price.

2MuchMark 11-08-2015 04:52 PM

Search for it on Ebay first and then price to match the average price. Happy Selling!

$money$ 11-08-2015 04:52 PM

$20 amazon gc

adultchatpay 11-08-2015 04:55 PM

As it is, that's worth $150-180 all day.

rayadp05 11-08-2015 04:57 PM

I agree with the Ebay idea. You should be able to get a pretty decent idea of what they typically sell for if you do a search for that particular laptop or either ones that are similar to it.

Huh? He did not even set the price :error:1orglaugh
Not to mention you must be retarded to think that established GFY member would post stolen computer like that, LOL.

mineistaken 11-08-2015 06:24 PM

List it on CL (or ebay if you do not limit yourself locally) for lets say $350 and see if you get traction. If nothing in a week, drop the price to $300.

He already has an offer for that, why would he sell it to you. Offer 750 or something, after all you managed to conclude that it goes for 900 and more :1orglaugh

sandman! 11-08-2015 06:48 PM

would need to know the model # of laptop and which cpu it has

virtually all intel cpu's for laptops are dualcore so you saying that in the post means nothing :2 cents::2 cents:

Rob 11-08-2015 06:48 PM

I checked eBay, they're going for anywhere between $225 and $350. So his offer was very reasonable.

I see your logic. That is actually how negotiations are done - you tell the seller that his stuff is worth 3 times more than it is hoping that doing so would help you to get even a greater deal :thumbsup
Prior to this genius people tried to tell the seller that his stuff was worth less so that they could get a deal, but now we see how it should be done by geniuses :thumbsup :1orglaugh
A break through in negotiation tactics!

Relic 11-08-2015 07:34 PM

Well he's got you there stupid.

marlboroack 11-08-2015 07:55 PM

I'll give you some porn for it :pimp

MachuPicchu 11-10-2015 03:34 AM

I think you gonna be lucky to sell that for 250 bucks

CurrentlySober 11-10-2015 04:30 AM

Nada... tbh, I would just steal a better one...
