I can't believe they actually put this spot on TV in 1974. I remember it scaring the shit out of my brother and me for months! It's still a bit creepy if you ask me.

I love horror, and I just watched that clip WITHOUT sound and it creeped me the fuck out.

Pretty screwed up looking. Exorcist came out in 73, So I am sure people were on a demon possession kick for a few years after that. Movies used to have more of an effect on people.

Yeah this is an Exorcist copycat type of movie, but still creepy.

Didn't bother me at all. Horror/scary movies don't have much of an effect on me, I usually laugh at how ridiculous they are.

Our parents did not let us watch movies and shows like that when we were kids. I have this theory that if you did not see things like this when young, it doesn't bother you that much later on because it just looks silly. Maybe others can confirm or deny?

It looked pretty campy, to be honest. The screams were good, though. I love a good screech. :)
