Html5 in browser limited webcam functionality
 

I'm currently using webrtc for audio and video cam chat for my site and it works great for chrome to chrome audio and video chat. Firefox to firefox has a few issues with audio transfer. It looks like there are some subscription webrtc packages which are very expensive so obviously I would like to find a better alternative. Chrome to chrome only functionality is not going to be sufficient for the long haul. If you have any questions about my problem or any possible solutions please let me know.

Is it cheap? even their lowest $0.004/min package would cost
$0.004*60*24*30=$172.8 per stream?

if you have 10 cams online 24/7 with 5 viewers in each room on average that is
(10 + (10*5))*$172.8=$10368 every month.

If that is low price for you I would be happy if you become our client for software development tasks including webrtc for browser and mobile devices! :thumbsup

hmm i'm not sure why Dmitry didn't promote his own product. they have the best independent script for mobile cams. i have scoured the web monthly for 5 years looking for that function. i've set up servers, tried every script (even webrtc - which is very limited), but some function is always missing. Dmitry's script has mobile playback AND broadcasting.

And he sells the script? Sounds like he custom builds everything hrs does.

Thanks for recommendations! We are really working 12+ years in webcam sites development and we have clients with LIVE websites who request really useful practical features.

Most of scripts available on the market making features for people who buy the site to make a sale. But we make features required by customers, models, studios and affiliates - that makes a difference.

To summarize I would say WebRTC could be considered as future technology but for now it is not ready for production use.

We also getting prepared to switch to new streaming technology (WebRTC or something else who know what would be popular in 1-2 years) but for now Flash streaming is still the best option!

And don't wait for something modern! just go with us and we will offer an update once we have it to all our clients! :)
