That's because they would be labeled racist, sexist, and terrorist, then booed off stage, if they could even get on stage due to the protests being held outside the theater.

There needs to be more George Carlin bumper stickers in the world.

Hell he was arrested and charged with indecency and obscenity back in the 70s that's where his whole 7 dirty words you can't say on air came from.. He was a big fighter for freedom of speech.

I'd say the country is more PC as far as sexism, racist stuff goes, but you can get away with a lot more now than you could then in other areas..

His last performance before he died was only 7 years ago, you act as if he was from the 50's or something.

They were saying that and that's my point. Today would be a shit storm. Seinfeld and Rock regularly complain that comedy isn't as fun anymore because someone, somewhere is going to be offended. With the explosion of social media, 7 years is a long ass time.
