Does anyone remember

When I was about 5 in the UK they had on TV these nature films.

They were american.

May have even been made by walt disney.

They would follow a family of animals.

I think in one they followed some wild american cats and her kittens.

I thought they were wonderful.

But never seen them for years.

Anyone remember these films?

If so who made them as I would love to see them again.

They may have been made in the 60's.

Come on man. DiVy would've been 5 in like 1940. Blue planet didn't air until this century.

It could be those.

The one that I remember was one about american wild cats. I think mountain cats.

She had her cubs.

the Disney "Wonderful World Of Color" would run some of those on Sunday nights

Mutual of Omaha also had "wild kingdom" at that time

When I was a kid (20 years ago) both the Discovery Channel and Disney had programs like that. As a kid it was actually quite disappointing that Disney was so boring during the daytime, that's what they filled their time with.

They were definitely old. I don't know about 60s, but low-budget 70s for sure. Not sure who owned them, it very well could have been Disney.

Today I would recommend the Planet Earth BluRay series but it's completely different from what you are looking for.
