...and I am not impressed with any of the GOP candidates and find some of them are miserably unqualified and even downright jokes. The democrats couldn't be running any worse people if they tried. The shit that goes on in my country and around the world is one of the reasons I have withdrawn to the wilderness.

i wonder if its even possible for a person who is well suited for the job to actually get it. the entire process centers around acquiring money & fame for a 2 year period, which is a skill set completely unrelated to doing the job. so, short of being a billionaire, how do you not whore yourself out to the wealthy to have any shot? a true grassroots campaign is not possible. you need friends in the media & a dayjob that gives you daily free press. bloomberg is the only billionaire i can think of who is not nuts & has a good record running a government.

It has nothing to do with if they are qualified to do the job anymore, the press will make sure no one qualified ever gets that far.
Case in point and I'm not sticking up for anyone.
Headlines like Carson has had 6 people sue for malpractice.
What it doesn't say is that one was for leaving a sponge in with a woman's brain. This case was later dropped. I looked it up and what Carson explained that it was a part of the procedure is in fact correct.
So the press never did this, get the facts. They just print the hype.

That's a helluva nice catch. I've always been about 75% leaning that they were the same. However, since Steve was so adamant that he wasn't theking I considered that I might be wrong. Not now though, this is the smoking gun.
