US killed both Jihad John and the Lybian ISIS leader..

In the last few days the U.S. Has killed both Jihad John and the ISIS commander in Lybia. If nothing else that's a nice bit of payback to these cock suckers.

If you read the ISIS response when they claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks they specifically mention air strikes and that air strikes would not be possible in Paris.

This shows they are scared shitless of air strikes because there isn't shit they can do to stop them. One moment they are sitting in their mud hut, the next mins they are blown to bits..

The U.S. Has had a pretty good track record of taking out leaders of Al Quida and now we start on ISIS. They know they can't hide and eventually we will get each one... Not even bin laden could hide with all his support and money..

The U.S. largely dismantled Al Quidea by constantly killing their leaders.. The same will happen to ISIS..

So much else has happened since that about Jihad John was first reported over 36 hours ago, but...LOL...thanks for the 'breaking news'. :P

The ISIS Lybia leader being killed was just released today and it's pretty big news considering..... Jihad John was just a recap as it was buried in the news about the Paris attacks..

Last week's news but it was overshadowed by the terrorist attacks in Paris.

Assassinating enemy leaders during ''wartime'' is fair game.

After Paris, Is It Time to Roll on Raqqa, the ISIS Capital? - The Daily Beast

This is probably a bad idea. However, even a tactical neutron bomb strike on Raqqa would put down the cockroaches only in Raqqa. There would still be sleeper cells to rise like the mythical Lernaean Hydra. The most radical plans would not work either.

Only total political and economic isolation of their ''caliphate'' -- starve them out -- they may get really stupid as the stress and pressure builds and implode and war within themselves.

Putin can drop all the bombs he wants but ISIS's next target may very well be within the borders of Russia. Think about that the next time a crowd is gathered in Moscow ... Frankly, I am surprised there have been so few terrorist events in the USA the past 2 years.

bronco67 11-15-2015 08:46 AM

But I thought we had no strategy....and Putin was doing everything.

Not being able to move freely is going to take its toll eventually. Everyone wants quick results, but that's not the way it works.

That's the narrative the conservatives like to bolster, but as most of their rhetoric goes, it's largely untrue and doesn't resemble reality.

it is long time strategy, but ferst need to localize them and not to give them the base for attack on other countries.

after Afghanistan we understood that not to escape from terrorism.
it will come to you in the country in Chechnya as ours.
therefore it is better to fight on their territory, but not at home
