France Hits Raqqa...
And so it goes on - The cycle continues...
|
Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness. We must meet the forces of hate with the power of love-
mlk |
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy, instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.- mlk |
Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword-
Matthew 26:52 |
Too little too late.

good France!
|
on a raqqa tip :thumbsup
|
The people called for closed borders months ago. That would have made a real change. Now all those IS terrorists are already among us. Too late.
|
Once Raqqa falls and ISIS retreats into Iraq, what then? Then you'll have the French in the east and the Russians and Iranians in the west, and by then, Russia and Iran will have probably taken Aleppo so everyone will be just be staring at each other with Assad looking nervously back and forth in the middle.

An eye for an eye I say.
When someone hits you hit them back 4 times as hard. Hail Satan |
Where the fuck is Raqqa? Jamaica?

10 planes and 20 bombs? This is just a ''feel good'' operation. |

Rastafari ain't done huttin' to me bra. |
Why aren't they still bombing? Did France run out of bombs?

setting up operation like that in less than 48h looks more like amateurish scream than some serious army attack :2 cents: i dont think those isis bosses have been waiting watching tv in their bases anyway :2 cents: but, better to show some power than be quiet like so far ... now lets show us some real troops on the field, and have luck ...
|
The difference in this war is the enemy is already on their opponent's home turf. You can bomb the enemies turf as much as you want, they are still sitting next to you for dinner.
The big report right now is how one of the bombers was a really nice guy and played soccer with the neighborhood kids. |

Here: Paris unites in defiant solidarity, then scatters in panic
The French have been passive and against violence for quite some time. The people are not going to change overnight. Meanwhile, these guys coming in are hardened, guided by clever handlers, and willing to do what they need to do. Blend in. Make friends. Boom. |
Basically, ISIS (who have pretty much declared war on everyone, including the majority of Muslims) are running amok while the rest of us squabble and our leaders have bi-monthly "dinners" where nothing is agreed. Time to team up and rid ourselves of this stain on humanity.

What needs to happen, is everywhere there is a attack by these muslim extremist is they need to bury the body with dead pigs and be very public about it so every terrorist knows his body will sleep with the pigs face down, pointed away from mecca.
They only believe in superstition so fight them with it. |

But what a waste of perfectly good bacon. |

put it this way. the US military is in a stalemate with 30,000 dead-enders. thats where we are with obama commander in chief. but hey, its bush's fault ISIS happened. :) |

Yea because Bush totally dismantled al Qaeda by systematically killing all its leaders. Bush also totally didn't pay off the guys who became ISIS to not fight in Iraq... I mean yea totally all Obamas fault.... |

Rick rolls into town. Tells the folks they need to prepare. They are out of their element. It's time to wake up. Many want him dead, formerly peaceful people, want Rick dead. Others just want him to go away. Say he's insane. Rick keeps fighting anyway. Trying to show them the way. Sure, Rick goes to the quarry and unleashes a beast, but it was going to happen anyway. That powder keg was going to blow. He tried getting ahead of it when it was still a possibility. Town is invaded by psychos wanting to kill everyone in sight. Ricks crew saves the day. Ricks crew is asked to lead on. |

i smell the war coming! if we were not careful to learn from past mistakes and avoid confrontation like this now we will pay the price, all of us!
|
and this is just the beginning. :2 cents:

Looks like a nice place to visit :upsidedow

fair analogy. that fucking bush screwed up so fucking bad he completely took any moral high ground away from USA for a generation. so paris is attacked friday & people blame bush & USA for it. to an extent, obamas bombing of ISIS is a confirmation of the bush doctrine (attack before we get attacked) but obama is doing it in an ineffective way that is just emboldening the enemy. IMO. |
Now after the Paris incident
