For you Americans, this guy used to run through tackles that would put you or I in a wheelchair. In the NFL he would have been a superstar.

Watching those vids now he makes it look as though he is playing against a school boy team. In reality he is swatting away packs of hardened rugby professionals like they are old women.

When he got the ball I had always had the same feeling of simultaneous terror and awe. His playing career was too short as was his life.

People, no matter how famous, tend to die.
