Anyone ever work with software downloads? I'm getting killed on selling physical products
Ive been looking to expand into mainstream and made a tech blog reviewing small gadgets and selling them, but the commissions are so tiny, Im making like $0-2/day :(
If I were selling something digital the commissions would be way better. I was wondering if anyone here ever sold software, like say Evidence Eliminator etc and has any tips on getting started with that. I like tech but I think something downloadable is the way to go. If I sell a $20 keyboard and make .40 cents, then why bother lol. |
In the meantime, start building a lead list/newsletter so that when you do have a high margin product to unload, you already have a great customer base to feed off of.

I'm not a big fan of software downloads. The trick with physical products is to really zero in on unique products so you're pushing higher margin products. Its crazy but the Snuggie still sells and there are offers that pay $12.50 a lead to this day.
Look for late breaking products that have generated a following (many as seen on TV products fall into this category) and promote when the margin is high. Quote:
