Hey Canadians! You're spending hundreds of millions to get 25,000 refugees.

How do you feel about that? The Prime Minister's office even started their own hashtag, #WelcomeRefugees.

"Under the full details of the plan, announced Tuesday, 10,000 Syrian refugees will be relocated to Canada by January 1. Within 60 days after that, another 15,000 will be in the country.

The whole plan will cost up to $678 million over six years, and will see the influx of Syrians heading to 36 communities across the country."

Yes, the economics of the situation is the reason I'm against refugees. In the US it costs tax payers $65k per refugee per year, opposed to 1/12th the cost for them to relocate to a neighboring middle eastern country, where assimilation is much more natural with similar cultures.

We're 18 trillion in debt, it's madness. I'm all for them coming here if they have their own resources or through charity.

He won not for that, but everyone hated Harper, this was only part(the bad one) of his platform:2 cents:

30 yea rs ago, we welcomed other refugees created by american war : the boat people

( for the ignorants here, they came from Vietnam )

Those integrated to the canadian community and contributed greatly to our economy as well as culture .

Sometimes, someone must have an open mind , not just bombs :2 cents:

For the ignorant, USA took in the vast VAST majority of those refugees who were, in fact, fleeing the repressive communist regime in Viet Nam that USA was trying to stop.

It's more cost effective to spend a few hundred million on refugees...than purchase jet fighters and other military toys to fight'em overseas.

As a bonus - when they start blowin' stuff up here on Canuck soil - Trudeau's gov't can justify spending billions more expanding CSIS into Canada's version of Big Brother and further para-militarize police departments across the country.

There's bigger plans in motion other than just trying to look like great humanitarians on the world stage.

Get ready...this is just the beginning.

I predict a flood of new "illegals", but coming from the north this time.

By the way, why take the refugees only Syria but not from the Ukraine example was always interested in this issue? is a program of development of tolerance in the society?
