'Severe blow': Al Qaeda suicide bomber takes out leadership of key ISIS brigade | Fox News Picking up the slack for Brassmonkey.. |
So now we have terrorists blowing terrorists?
That's a win win. |
Is there ANYONE that hasn't declared war on ISIS?

That's cool. If only there was a way to get rid of all of them ...which of course, is impossible.
|
And this just shows how fast troops on the ground would annihilate isis. We don't need 100000 troops and 50 years.

Wait until they go up against some highly trained operators. |

However it's then right back to the same thing Iraq & Afghan are that has dragged on for 10+ years.. Dealing with the vacuum of power and the insurgency and war lords which fills the gaps. There is no quick fix to any of these countries with out "stable" govts that have solid military and police forces, something that just will not happen in any short order as long as there are so many fractions that hate each other. IMO that only real solution to the Middle East is cut it into pieces and give each sect their own damn states. |
yes :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Putting troops on the ground is a zero win situation unless you plan to keep them there very long term and take control of the entire place which will not happen.. |

There are plenty of places for them to move to. Now ISIS is fighting in Syria/Iraq. Beat them there, the money and leadership moves to Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, or a lot of other countries. Nothing will change, while people are willing to die killing others, over who worships Islam correctly. Once the oil runs out. There won't be anything to fund the wars or fight for. Which is why the West must confiscate everything the Arabs acquired from having the oil. |

It's the best piece of news I've read in a while! Any serious media confirmed the news yet? Because... you know... Fox. |
So Al Queda won't be getting a fruitcake and Hallmark from ISIS this Christmas.
Round'em all up...put them on a small, desolate island and make the resulting skirmish pay-per-view. |
This is getting confusing

My op was and is still valid. Isis is not smart and are not organized and simply occupy space. The fact that the entire upper brass was in the same space and time with a suicide bomber allowed direct access to that group is very revealing. It's ludicrous to assume that level of military might would take the entire remaining world 50 years to eradicate. |

It's propaganda. The'terrorist' blew himself up by accident dur to a faulty connection.

They are not just a terrorist group but are acting as an actual govt in the areas they take over. They have judges, health care, collect taxes and run an extensive business racket. Before they even attack an area they had had spys there ahead of time top figure out who the rich people are and how they make their money. They then go in and kill them and take over their operations or charge them protection money. They are extremely organized.. You seriously need to do some reading if that's what you believe as you couldn't be more wrong. |
It was the entire upper brass of the fucking golan heights region. A key and big region they had complwte control by an extremely important leadership group of isis.
It was a huge blow to Isis. At my level of convo, details such as that arent needed to be explained out. I wrongly assumed you were there. If I'm going to have to waste time explaining every nuance and subtly of a topic, I'll just fuck around instead. I seriously need to realize who I'm speaking to here, I'm fully fucking read up on this topic |

Yes this bombing is a big blow, but it's not going to end them.. One of their biggest strengths has been their ability to move large amounts of troops where they need them at a moment's notice. |
jeez crock, from YOUR OP article:::::::::::::::::::
Regional experts suggest the successful suicide mission against such a significant affiliate shows a degree of on-the-ground vulnerability on the part of ISIS. They say it could be interpreted as justification for those who argue that only ‘boots on the ground’ can truly deal a crushing blow to ISIS, whose reported underground hiding places ensure that while they will suffer casualties from airstrikes carried out by the U.S., France and others, such tactics are unlikely to deal them a mortal blow. |
i call bullshit. this smells like a mossad operation. :2 cents:
|
SA has the 3rd biggest military on the planet. they can easily go in there and wipe the floor with their fellow muslims and regain the muslim authority thingie (scare the living shit outta the other crazy muslims and get them back in line).
|
btw, that's not my view, that's my man Bernie Sanders'ss view. he thinks SA and the other richie gulf states should shoulder the load of eradicating isis and making sure the next [insert acronym] doesn't rise up in its stead.
