Painting over aircraft insignia is illegal (as you can see the best you can do is have low visible insignia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milita...craft_insignia).

Not only that, he continued explaining that it is all good because painting over insignia is good for camouflage (since that star and those black letter are probably so shiny that it is surely necessary to camouflage them :1orglaugh) and that its is "a norm" (giving some irrelevant and wrong examples, as per his usual "logic").
