Silicon Valley professionals are taking LSD at work to increase productivity
An increasing number of twenty-somethings are reportedly 'micro-dosing' on psychedelic drugs - and they say it's making them better workers
Could taking LSD at work make your more productive? It seems unlikely, but that?s apparently what some Silicon Valley professionals have been doing - and reporting great results. According to Rolling Stone, a growing number of people are experimenting with "microdoses" of psychedelics to help them work. A microdose of LSD is around 10-15 micrograms, approximately a tenth of a ?normal? dose. At that dosage, Rolling Stone describes the drug?s effects as ?subperceptual?: " 'Enough, says Rick Doblin, founder and executive director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, ?to feel a little bit of energy lift, a little bit of insight, but not so much that you are tripping.?? Psychedelics researcher Dr James Fadiman discussed microdosing with Vice, saying: ?People do it and they?re eating better, sleeping better, they?re often returning to exercise or yoga or meditation. It?s as if messages are passing through their body more easily.? ?But what many people are reporting is, at the end of the day, they say, ?That was a really good day.? You know, that kind of day when things kind of work.? ?You?re doing a task you normally couldn?t stand for two hours, but you do it for three or four. You eat properly. Maybe you do one more set of reps. Just a good day. That seems to be what we?re discovering.? Continued Silicon Valley professionals are taking LSD at work to increase productivity - Telegraph |
When the legalisation of LSD?
|
better take a micro dose of MDMA , 30-40mg
|
taking micro doses of testosterone will make you grow...the micro dose is not enough to disrupt your hormonal axis and the competition for receptors is insignificant...spreading out the dose during the day increases the effect further...if your diet and training is spot on, you can get gains like with regular doses...
5mg/day is usually enough...2.5mg x2 is better... has nothing to do with LSD but is rock solid advice :thumbsup |
Is this a news worthy story? What happened to that Finnish man who hit his thumb accidentally with a hammer?

Actually might be true. According to "Game Over", the documentary about Atari, the writer theorizes that the computer revolution (evolution?) in the 70's and 80's are thanks in part to LSD.

crick had a vision of / "discovered" dna while on lsd. jobs used it to boost his creativity and consciousness. apparently most of the top disruptive tech companies now are being led by people that dose regulatory lsd new ways of seeing "reality."
lsd opens consciousness and awareness to an incredible degree. the thing is that it also opens doors into yourself and most people are pussies and can't confront the darkness within themselves ... so to them lsd is the "problem." |

Macro doses of THC.

I read an article the other day saying they were making leaps in the study of anxiety and social phobias using micro doses of LSD. They said the doses weren't enough to cause the tripping, hallucination effects. But LSD does something in the brain that promotes the production of something. And that something kills anxiety, and some cases of depression.
Pretty fucking amazing if you ask me. I used to trip on Acid like it was my job, and I fucked loved it. I used to always think it was a healthy drug for the brain, but now it's scientifically and medically proven. |

I work in Silicon Valley as a programmer. I've never heard of people taking LSD for productivity. Drugs of choice are caffeine, Adderall, and Modafinil.

I've had some of my best ideas whilst on LSD, unfortunately I can never seem to remember them in the morning. :)
