MFC - model banned and fined over $500 for gaining a little weight since 2005

Woke up this morning to a nice email letting me know my studio account had been fined ALL of it's tokens (yes, they were kind enough to reduce the $1000 fine to the amount I actually had) because one of my models was supposedly "not the one in the ID".

Well 10 years ago when she got her ID she looked like this: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

But she was barely 18 when that photo was taken. Now 10 years later she looks like this:
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

or this:
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

So I emailed them the unredacted versions of the photos above and included the following note:

Quote:

I appreciate your diligence however in this case I must insist you have whoever made this decision visit an optometrist. This model has been absent for a year or more from our studio and returned yesterday. She has gained a little weight which is most apparent in her face, however she remains the same model whose account was approved originally around June 2014. I have attached a recent picture of her, (yesterday) a pic of her with her ID in hand and her original ID scan that was submitted when her account was opened. I realize that ageing and weight gain are not ideal however 10 years is a long time and I challenge any of your staff to prove they look identical to any 10 year old ID they may carry now.

In case you are not convinced, If you have archived screenshots of her you can compare the tattoos. (be aware in some photos the image may be reversed – it’s possible the one I sent you is reversed as her profile photos have the tattoos on opposite arms/legs)
Hope they can get this sorted so I don't have to scrap them for being assholes.

edit: can't seem to embed images with imgur the way I used to

Where did her mole go?

American Psycho 12-01-2015 08:06 AM

Um, stupid perfectionist photographer decided to edit it out. The mole has gotten less sexy with age. In any case I will beat him with an inexpensive zoom lense. Here is the untouched photo:

From this collection of old profile pics you can see she has a face that looks very different depending on the angle, the tattoos give some assurance though.

No argument here, I think we all know that by and large 18 year olds tend to be a lot more photogenic than 28 year olds.

True for women.
For men, the older they get, the more photogenic - their car - gets.

SpicyM 12-01-2015 08:54 AM

Wonder how her pussy has changed since 18 :winkwink:

CaptainHowdy 12-01-2015 08:58 AM

That's reasonable ...

Ah! That clears it up. Hope they give you your money back.

XENON CONTENT 12-01-2015 09:42 AM

seems like something they would probably clear up right away without all the fuss

All what fuss? They took my girls' hard earned money for no reason. I have better things to do than fix other people's stupid mistakes.

Whether they give it back or not, they still fucked up.

And no, the re-touched mole issue had nothing to do with it. That is a recent pic (from yesterday) the account was opened with a different untouched 2257 pic over a year ago and approved by them at that time. The girl took a year off, gained a little weight and didn't get a new ID to go with it, I am sure this is not the first time this has happened, and I am not the only one who feels like MFC is a little trigger happy with the fines.

Whether they give it back or not they still betrayed my trust, fucked with my money, were irresponsible and I will take them to task over it as much as is within my power to do.

candyflip 12-01-2015 10:04 AM

Seems like a quick way to grab some extra cash for MFC.

I wouldn't have expected them to need to resort to these sorts of tactics.

blackmonsters 12-01-2015 10:04 AM

This is the homeland security trickle down effect.

:1orglaugh

dyna mo 12-01-2015 10:05 AM

wow, that girl changed quite a bit in 10 years.

EddyTheDog 12-01-2015 10:15 AM

I would stay well clear - Even if they had men on cam - All this fining is bollocks - The only people giving you fines should be the government when you fuck up...

It's summery justice and does not belong in a business relationship.....

We had a session scheduled for today and I'd be happy to share but she got mad and stayed home cause of the MFC thing. So you can blame them for the lack of nudes as well.

baddog 12-01-2015 12:14 PM

A fine? Is that in their TOS?

pornguy 12-01-2015 12:40 PM

Yep try hiring somebody to paint your house for $1000 then fining them $100 for each drop of paint they spill. You'll end up with a lien on your house and a lot of trouble finding a contractor next time.

In our various master agreements we have with affiliates, service partners, and clients, we have specific penalties for various wrong doing. Each has an exact dollar amount disclosed, and several have a first (lower penalty), and second infraction (increased penalty) tiers. Like American baseball, third strike and they are out.

OK well first of all that's wrong and fuck you for doing that. Negative reinforcement is good for criminals and dilinquents, I guess if that's who you work with then fine whatever. For adults, children and animals positive reinforcement is much more effective.

Second, you should at least make sure you have your glasses on before you enforce your "penalties" and make sure the actual infraction really happened. I am not saying you don't, I don't work with you and knowing the above I doubt I would.

Sly 12-01-2015 01:18 PM

The interesting thing about "penalties" is in some industries it's against the law and can land you in really deep water. In other industries it's pretty normal. For example, penalties in construction contracts are not uncommon. However, if you start docking employees at your local retail store because they were chewing gum, DoL gets a little pissed off.

Out of curiosity, was the ID in question still valid? I'm asking because it's clearly 10 years old and 10 year IDs are not common (though possible, Arizona for example has a ridiculous timeframe.) To me she looks to be the same person as her ID, so I'm not quite sure why else someone would have flagged her unless her ID is expired. And if that was the case, that's an easy fix.

What they are saying is that the ID does not belong to her, when it does - not that it's old. This performer is Colombian. In that country and others, you get your national ID when you turn 18 (for many the only photo ID they will ever have) and it does not expire. You can get a new one if you lose it but it's a mile of red tape and days in line. So yes it's still valid.

Regarding fines in general, I have been fined before by them and in those cases I didn't have proof they were wrong so I didn't complain, instead I kicked some ass in my own organization. They could have just communicated with me though, but whatever at least there's a fair chance they were correct, in this case there isn't.

AMDWarrior 12-01-2015 01:57 PM

Shit..she's much hotter now.

Hope ya get it worked out, sounds like bullshit to me.

So you will open a new thread in GFY every time MFC fines you $1000?

fitzmulti 12-01-2015 04:30 PM

That's messed up.

I am sure the next time will be the last, and if they don't reverse this there won't be a next time, I'll boycott them and all known associates and I'll talk shit about them at every opportunity just like I do with Zombaio and marlboroack.

plsureking 02-06-2016 06:19 AM

sounds like a paypal move. did Mindgeek buy MFC?

DVTimes 02-06-2016 06:36 AM

So the webcam site has been checking models and ID.

They contacted you.

You can sort it out.

Its no big deal.

I notice the mole touched up also.... this can be id fraud, if it was on a legit id, alas, you can see it on the id, so this not a problem.

Looking at Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

you can see it is the same model. Wondering, John, why was the old id photo only uploaded 2 months ago to imgur?

Just curious, no digging :2 cents:

HowlingWulf 02-06-2016 09:17 AM

I think she's looks very different but a warning or request for clarification would have been a better response from MFC.

ErectMedia 02-06-2016 10:02 AM

I'd still hit that...

Fines are actually normal thing in construction , tho usually it applies if you break deadline, not if you do mistakes.

If it would have been Trump running MFC´s the model would have been banned before she began working :disgust
