Scammer alert- NakedTube

Does anyone know James (Johnson) Peters - skype nakedtube.com?
I sent him money two weeks ago for media buying and since then no reply and no traffic of course.
Has anyone had a similar experience with him?

Wilsy 12-02-2015 03:14 AM

Tried to get us too but we figured he was a scammer beforehand

That's bad, i hope it gets sorted out.

It became very hard to upload to the nakedtube.com, so I set him aside.

It is obvious he is a scammer. Do not deal with him.

There is 2 guys going around impersonating adult tube site reps, giving bullshit traffic numbers, using Alexa info to pass off top 10 GEOs so that you believe they work for the company and then ripping people off for $5k tests with the promise of giving them exclusivity on a spot that seems to be an insane deal.

Here are a few tips for everyone who buys traffic
1. ALWAYS check the website for an Advertising link to see who handles the ad space
2. Ask the person you are talking to, to send you an email from their tube domain
3. Check company information - if it matches the info on the tube site 9/10 its a scam, no company will use their public corporate name on the tube as their billing info, too easy for banks to catch it.
4. Check the actual site to see if anyone you know is buying their traffic, ask their advice if they know said sales rep.
5. Use common sense - if a deal seems too good to be true, it most likely is a scam.

Stay safe people. These guys tried it with one of our sites, they even spent 3 days in negotiations with me personally, I played then when I told him who I was he simply asked "who gave you my contact". Scumbags.

We had also shady people on skype proposing to sell us monthly spots on some major tube sites. We asked them to put a verification code to the site and they vanished

Yep, always ask proof they are really owners of the sites they offer ads on.

3xmedia 12-02-2015 11:50 AM

there is at least one scumbag that has been doing this shit for years. he is from some 3rd world country shithole but always uses Amerian sounding names-thinking it will make him more trustworthy or something.

people need to be more careful then deal with someone they don't know. Ross's advices are good :thumbsup
