I got an idea out of my head finally and launched a non-porn site, Candles.Space. People can buy homemade candles and also open a candle store with no listing fees.

Hard to come up with ideas that don't have sex in them. My mindset is one way it seems :) Any clever, family-friendly, ideas? Better SEO?

I did a "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" bedroom candle set that has one cinnamon and one strawberry. I also have some novelty penis candle melts. But that's as far as I"m willing to go and even that seems risque a bit?

What about candles that melt and have something inside? I once paid $50.00 for this candle I never got from the UK. It was a gift for one of my managers - definitely not my taste but was hers.

Are you just looking for ideas on molds or what? Why not look on pinterest? You got porn on the brain. :1orglaugh

jewelry candles are a huge thing right now. get a code inside candle, redeem online and see what you got. some actually have a cheap ring inside.

1/2 the women in the US are making candles hoping to be a success. The other 1/2 make jewelry.

Think there's no money in porn, Absolutely none in candles or jewelry.

A few thoughts.

1. Remove this banner. I do not think it needed as you have the text link at the top. And it makes the site look ugly.

2. Put the logo in the center of the site, and the text under it (where you sign in and so on).

3. Get rid of the google advert. It makes the site look ugly and I bet it will not generate much, plus will put some people off adding products to your site.

4. Do your own youtube film. It will help get you more hits to your site.

I was surprised at how many porn peddlers also make candles. They are rather phallic :)

Buy one of the latest toys from your local toy shop, video yourself unwrapping it and talking about how wonderful it is, put it on YouTube with ads. 2 years ago would have been a lot better

I think you need to convey "lifestyle" a bit more on your website, at the moment it looks a bit plain and clinical.

I would also suggest an Instagram account, with nice pictures of your candles. I think that will work better than Twitter for this.

I don't see why you can't have the best of both worlds...
