Comments on My Basic 3 Column Css Design

Hi Guys

To any of the other webmasters out there, I just wanted your comments on my basic 3 column CSS design at:

Naked Women Time

I want to go with a three column design, but now I am just thinking about things like what screen resolution to design for, what happens when I make the window smaller, you know all that usability stuff.

At the moment I have:

Left column 1 260px wide

Middle column 2 variable size

Right column 3 260px wide

If I narrow my browser window, then the orange "Chat LIVE" button and the live video feed will just overlap the right column. Do you think this is acceptable?

The site is not mobile responsive at all yet, because I've not looked into it. Do you think it's worth doing? When I look at my site on my smartphone, it just looks like a smaller version of the desktop version, and personally I think that may be enough.

Thanks guys

And now days if you want SE traffic a responsive design is a must , your site it may be looking good on mobile but also need to be responsive in the google's eyes which is not take a look here :https://www.google.com/webmasters/to...dwomentime.com !

Exactly, plus Google will downgrade all websites that are not mobile-friendly.

OK guys, I will work out how to make it responsive ... thanks for the comments.

Any tips about the best way forward for a responsive design?

I want to use the LiveJasmin live video feed on each page, so any comments on the best width to make this? At the moment, it is 468px wide.

Thanks guys

The best way to make a responsive website if you are not a designer or programer is to use wordpress with a responsive theme !
