was at a mercedes saloon today and first time I saw it in person and.. I fucking loved it

looks huge and super buff on all sides

I have super small need for a car all together (like 1000 km monthly / 700 miles all together) so popping 95 000 EUR for it would be plain insane but damn - I WANT IT :helpme

They only made it to match the market BMW x6 is king of. I tried it, but like the GLC better. Its usefull and not so vulgar

yep, bmw x6 is a stunner but there is something special about that merc badge in front :)

That and the X6 are fugly cars! It's a luxury version of the Pontiac Aztek.

My BMW broke down so much it's not even funny, fuck those cars. My Mercedes now is much, much better and hasn't had one problem since I got it 6 months ago.

I have no idea why people buy them (I understand that x6 may look super to some people, but so are many other cars in better classes), that whole new class looks useless to me.

Sample size is too small when talking about second hand cars (I assume that since your MB is not the newest). It depends on how it was used by the previous owner and so on.

I am always amazed when some people buy one used and then makes conclusions like "that brand sucks and breaks" while he is on ly talking about 1 specifically used car :1orglaugh

Its terrible to drive as well. It's got the worst blind spots. Buddy of mine had one and I'll never forget having to drive his truck home after we went out. Handled well but not my cup of tea. Pick an SUV or a car...hell I think a station wagon looks better haha

This is probably because they invented a bunch of different car classes in the last decade or so. So they had to steal some names for them..

but they didn't. a cls isn't a different class. it's a sedan with a sweeping roofline. this gle is an suv with a sweeping roofline.

i'm a huge m-b fan and have owned several, nevertheless, their marketing is gimmicky.

The only one i don't really view as an old man car is that CLA, because frankly I feel it's too inexpensive. Even like the SL is a 'mid-life crisis' mobile to me, and the smaller roadsters are "old man's wife's" car. I'm a bmw fanboy though :thumbsup
